Level/Salary Range: $15.00 to $20.00/hr. based on experience and qualifications

Job Description/Role and Responsibilities

  • Teller Operations-
    • Ability to process a variety of teller transactions and cash balancing. Perform other duties as needed.
  • New Accounts/Services-
    • Responsibilities include the ability to perform new account openings and closings. Ability to identify additional services and refer, if appropriate, to other lines of business.
  • Customer Service-
    • High level of customer interactions of all types; requiring a wide knowledge of bank services to include all electronic offerings
    • Answer telephone calls and handle issues with proficiency
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned and maintain a level of professionalism and appearance.
  • Know, adhere and administer all other compliance-related procedures and processes relevant to banking functions; e.g. BSA/AML, GLBA, IT Security, etc.

Skills and Specifications

  • Cash handling experience
  • Good at multitasking, prioritizing work and possess flexibility in day to day workflow

Loan Operations Specialist I

Branch: Monument
Level/Salary Range: $19.00 to $22.00/hr.
Bank Area: Loan Department
Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Description/Role and Responsibilities
The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for providing operations support to the loan department in addition to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This position is responsible for scanning loan files, processing loan transactions, processing loan payoffs, and responding to customer service inquiries. The Loan Operations Specialist plays an integral part of the Loan Operations team to ensure documentation is accurate, processed within required timeframes, and ensures that company established policies and other regulatory/compliance requirements are met.

Essential Functions

  • Scan and upload all documentation for new, renewed, and paid off loans
  • Process loan payments and advances while ensuring proper documentation and approval has been obtained
  • Process loan payoffs and release collateral
  • Accurately track file exceptions relating to loan documentation, financial documents, or evidence of insurance
  • Communicate with customers and lenders to respond to inquiries, resolve problems, and obtain additional documentation
  • Respond to customer service requests via phone, email, mail, or in person

Skills & Specifications

  • Excellent communication skills to include listening, verbal, and written
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, time management, data review, and processing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and sometimes competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Project a professional image through appropriate business attire, ethical behavior, personal responsibility, punctuality, flexibility, and respect for confidentiality with sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one-year banking experience
  • Proficient use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
  • Typing skills to meet production needs of the position
  • Notary or willing to obtain a notary license within six months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of consumer and commercial loan documentation, collateral perfection
  • Knowledge of bank accounting practices including the understanding of debit/credit relationships
  • Working knowledge of financial services loan systems and documentation applications: for example, LaserPro, AccuSystems, CSI/NuPoint

Loan Officer Assistant

Branch: Research
Level/Salary Range: $17.50 to $25.50/hr.
Bank Area: Loan Department
Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Description/Role and Responsibilities
Work alongside designated loan officers in a fast-paced environment as follows:

  • Process commercial and consumer loans
  • Work with applicants to gather appropriate documentation
  • Generate early disclosures
  • Order valuations, real estate appraisals, credit reports, title work, insurance and any other items needed for the file
  • Manage and be proficient with bank’s appraisal management system
  • Submit completed files to processing
  • Assist loan officer to satisfy approval conditions
  • Organize loan documents for closing, communicate with title companies, insurance agents, and appraisers as needed throughout the loan process
  • Assist and communicate with borrowers through the loan process
  • Ensure file is compliant with loan policy and regulations
  • Other miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties, as needed
  • Know, adhere and administer all other compliance-related procedures and processes relevant to banking functions; e.g. BSA/AML, GLBA, IT Security, etc.

Communication
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with a high degree of professionalism. Must have the ability to work as a member of a team to achieve the department’s desired outcomes.

Must have an attention to detail which results in a high level of accuracy and work performance. Must be a self-starter who is goal oriented, has a high degree of organization skills, the ability to handle stressful situations with courtesy and handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.

Skills & Specifications
1+ years of administrative experience is preferred Computer proficiency; including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn LaserPro (loan origination software), is required.
